I worked with Zinc Network on Keep Freedom Unlocked, a campaign dedicated to educating people about the freedoms won after the revolutions of 1989 and the collapse of the Soviet Union. I joined Zinc Network as a copywriter and creative, and worked on the tone of voice for the campaign and the full copy for the website. This included feature-length, researched articles; as well as scripts for promotional videos, social media copy and creative for the website.

Scriptwriting and creative

I worked on the script for the Fight For Your Rights promotional video, created to launch the Keep Freedom Unlocked campaign. I also worked with the Art Director to pin down the aesthetic, storyboard and source relevant footage.

Copywriting

I started by crafting a tone of voice for the campaign, which I then used to create copy for the website (About, Get Involved etc), social media channels and YouTube scripts. I also worked on a series of editorial features detailing the history of the Soviet Union and the freedoms that were won as a result of its fall.
